The Northern Star Business Awards recognise the exceptional accomplishments of organisations across the North-east of Scotland. Open to both members and non-members of the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, the winners of the 17th annual awards, will be unveiled during a glittering black-tie ceremony at P&J Live on March 11, 2021. In addition, through the generosity of attendees, the Northern Star Business Awards have raised more than £30,000 in the last five years towards helping local charities.

Seona Shand, AGCC Membership and Events Director, said: “During a year in which many businesses faced unprecedented challenges, we were thrilled that we received such a high number of nominations. Not only were they high in quantity, but also in quality, so our judges faced a considerable challenge selecting our finalists. We’ve seen some terrific examples of community spirit in recent months and a really fantastic sense of coming together in the face of adversity".

“While we cannot give them all an award, each of our finalists is truly deserving of recognition for their achievements and I’m looking forward to the awards night in March to help celebrate with all those entrants who have made it on to the most competitive of shortlists. You really are all winners.”

Lewis Sim, Legasea Managing Director said “We are over the moon with the nomination, and we would like to say a big thank you to the Northern Star judges, for shortlisting us, and acknowledging the amazing accomplishments of everyone in our team; during what has been a challenging time for all businesses across the region”
