HYDRAULICS
Hydraulic Couplings are supplied, utilising advanced manufacturing methods, to fulfil demand for when urgent operations are required. Legasea also refurbish and test Hydraulic Stab Plates, allowed legacy subsea equipment to be interfaced for critical operations, such as connecting to Subsea Trees for intervention or abandonment operations.
Legasea's hydraulic testing division is highly experienced in performing testing of Umbilicals prior to mobilisation, as well as preserving for long term storage.
Subsea Productions Systems and Valves controlled by Hydraulic Umbilicals use fluid cleaned according to the following specifications:
• Hydraulic Fluids - SAE AS 4059 Class 6 B-F
• Chemical Fluids – SAE AS 4059 Class 8 B-F
Umbilicals with varying fluid types and pressure ratings are separated into groups and tested via a manifold to ensure testing is completed out in the most efficient manner. Calibrated instrumentation is used by Legasea, helping to ensure that accurate pressures are observed.
Equipment is calibrated to ISO (11171) standards to ensure Industry standards are maintained and full documentation is produced for cleanliness level and pressure testing results.
